8 AM - Mass Start

Mt. Graham, Presteza and Eclipse have teamed together to help Junior Team El Grupo.  We are accepting new and used cycling items that will go to El Grupo to help equip their junior riders.  El Grupo is a non-profit that works with at-risk young teens. All cyclists are encouraged and asked to donate all new and used cycling items in good condition.

El Grupo is a youth cycling club located in Tucson, Arizona.  Our mission is to encourage the use of the bicycle for physical fitness, fun, and camaraderie.  We target young people (ages 12-18) who do not necessarily identify with or engage in traditional sports, but have the determination and willingness to push themselves physically and mentally in the sport of cycling.  We embrace everything from road riding to mountain biking, from bike touring to sustainable transportation.  We also work to inspire younger generations of cyclists through outreach programs.  Above all, we love riding bikes!  No special skills or gear are required.  The lack of cycling gear should not be a deterrent, as we have access to free or low-cost bicycles, helmets, lights, etc. Here is El Grupo web page link:
